When I decided to place my home on the market I was not sure which agent to list with.   In the end I am so glad I choose  Brenda Apel  from Re/Max as my Agent . 

Selling your house can be  an  emotional and stressful process, especially when it takes place being almost 2,000 km away from home. Brenda took the whole burden of selling and associated stress away from the transaction. She was very positive, energetic, prompt and most professional individual I’ve ever worked with right from the beginning to the very end. Very caring with phone calls and/or email informing me of the feed back after each visit and walking me through the whole process as if it would be the easiest thing to do.

Brenda Apel has sold my home in a record time without compromising my asking price. She achieved this just in a few days what others couldn’t do in over 60 days. It has been a real pleasure dealing with Brenda and I would not hesitate selling or buying my future properties with her help.

We first contacted Brenda through email because we were living in the UK at the time. At the same time we contacted Brenda, we had also contacted another realtor, but it soon became apparent that Brenda was the one who had our best interests in mind so we dropped the other realtor and worked solely with Brenda. Initially we had informed her of our situation and of our need to rent a place first so we would have somewhere to live while we looked for houses. She responded quickly and had rentals lined up for us in no time and once that was sorted, we set out to find a house. By prioritizing the rental we were able to move to the area quickly and get started on searching for a house. We found a house and were moved in within a month thereby minimizing our stay in rented accommodation.  We were both surprised and pleased with how efficient the process had been.

When it comes to viewing houses/rentals Brenda was extremely valuable. She has an uncanny talent in remembering all the details of the houses you have viewed that, for all of those who have viewed houses before, can appreciate. Not only can she remember the exact specifications of every house you visit but also all the details of what you like/dislike about it. She very quickly learnt what we wanted in a house and then showed us houses that matched our criteria, saving us the time that would have been wasted seeing houses that were of no interest to us. Also, unlike other realtors we have dealt with, Brenda showed us only houses that were within our budget which again, saved us from wasted viewings.

When it came time to put in an offer Brenda was there to lend advice as to what offer to put in and even after the purchase of our house she was always available for any questions we might have. Most importantly, aside from all of her abilities as a realtor, you never felt like you were just a client to Brenda. She really cares about the people she deals with, and being new to the area, it was comforting to have someone you knew you could contact anytime and would be there for you for whatever questions or problems you had. Brenda is an exceptional realtor and we would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone who asks.
